Class Attire
Studio Dress Code Policy: To ensure a safe and professional learning environment, all dancers should arrive dressed in the required attire with hair neatly secured before class begins. Proper dance shoes are required for participation. Jewelry should be kept to a minimum, and no gum, food, or beverages (other than water) are permitted in the studios.
Ballet
Students should wear class color leotards, skin-tone convertible tights, and ballet shoes. Hair must be secured in a neat ballet bun. Ballet skirts are optional unless otherwise instructed by the teacher. No jewelry, oversized accessories, or loose-fitting clothing.
Pointe
Students must wear the required ballet attire, skin-tone convertible tights, and properly fitted pointe shoes. Hair must be in a secure ballet bun. Pointe classes are by instructor placement only.
Tap
Students should wear comfortable dancewear, such as a leotard, dance shorts, leggings, or fitted athletic wear, with black tap shoes. Hair should be neatly secured away from the face.
Jazz
Students should wear a leotard with dance shorts, leggings, or jazz pants, along with tan jazz shoes (or the shoe color required by the instructor). Hair should be pulled back into a ponytail or bun.
Hip Hop
Students may wear clean athletic clothing, such as joggers, leggings, shorts, or a fitted T-shirt and Athletic sneakers.
Tumbling
Students should wear a fitted leotard or athletic top with shorts or leggings. Bare feet are required unless otherwise instructed. Hair must be securely tied back, and all jewelry should be removed before class.
Acrobatics
Students should wear a leotard or fitted athletic attire with shorts or leggings. Bare feet are required. Hair must be secured away from the face, and all jewelry should be removed. Loose-fitting clothing is not permitted to ensure safe spotting and proper technique.
